And custom doesn't have to mean more expensive. By choosing the features that matter to you—and leaving out the ones that don't—you can put your budget where it makes the biggest difference.
You don't need to arrive with drawings or a detailed plan, either. We'll guide you through the process and help turn those ideas into a camper that feels like it was made for you. Because it was.

Designing a custom camper doesn't mean you need to know exactly what you want—or how to design it.
We start by learning about you, your truck, and how you plan to use your camper. Tell us what's important to you, where you like to travel, how you camp, and any ideas or must-have features you already have in mind. From there, we'll help develop a layout and equipment package that makes sense for your needs, your truck, and your budget.
You can be as involved in the design process as you want. Some customers come to us with detailed plans and very specific ideas. Others simply tell us what they want their camper to do and let us take it from there. Most fall somewhere in between.
As the design develops, we'll work through the details together—layout, storage, electrical systems, appliances, finishes, and other options—while helping you understand the tradeoffs and make informed decisions.

Your Custom Build Timeline
Every custom camper is different, so the exact timeline can vary depending on the complexity of the design and our current production schedule. Here's what you can expect along the way.
Step 1: Cost Estimate
We start by learning what you want from your camper—how you plan to use it, the features and equipment that matter to you, any layout ideas you have, and your target budget. From there, we'll prepare an itemized cost estimate so you can see where your money is going. We can then adjust the design, features, and equipment to find the right balance between what you want and what you want to spend.
Step 2: Fully Refundable Deposit
When you're ready to move forward, a fully refundable deposit reserves your place in our production queue and allows us to begin the detailed design process. There's still flexibility at this stage. The deposit gives us the opportunity to start turning your ideas into an actual camper design without requiring you to make a major financial commitment.
Step 3: Design
We'll develop a preliminary 3D CAD model of your camper and walk through the design with you so you can see how the layout, features, and equipment come together. From there, we'll make changes and refine the design with you until we have it dialed in the way you want it. Some changes may affect the final price, and we'll discuss those with you as we go so there are no surprises.
Step 4: Down Payment
As we get closer to production and your design is finalized, a 50% down payment is due. At this point, we begin purchasing materials and equipment specifically for your camper and preparing for production. Because those purchases are made specifically for your build, the down payment—and your initial deposit—become non-refundable at this stage.
Step 5: The Build
This is where your design becomes your camper. Build time varies depending on the size, complexity, and equipment included in your camper. Throughout production, we'll keep you updated with photos and progress reports so you can follow the build and begin planning for pickup.
Step 6: Pickup or Delivery
We can arrange to have your finished camper shipped to you, but whenever possible, we highly recommend picking it up in person. Picking up at our shop allows us to walk through the camper with you, explain its systems and equipment, answer questions, and make sure you're completely satisfied before you head home. It also eliminates the cost of shipping.
If your schedule allows, we also recommend spending a night or two camping nearby before heading home. It's a great opportunity to get familiar with your new camper—and if you discover a minor adjustment or have a question after using it, we're close by and can help take care of it.
From the first estimate through pickup, our goal is to make building a custom camper clear, collaborative, and enjoyable.
Typical Investment
Because every camper we build is customized around the customer, there isn't a single price that fits every build. Your final investment depends on the size of the camper, layout, equipment, systems, finishes, and options you choose.
The advantage of building custom is that you decide where your money goes. You can keep things simple and focus your budget on the essentials, or build a fully equipped camper with the comforts and capabilities you want for extended travel.
Most of our completed custom campers typically fall between $25,000 and $50,000, with an itemized cost estimate provided before you place a deposit.
DIY-Oriented Builds
For customers who enjoy doing some of the work themselves, we also offer DIY-oriented builds starting around $18,000. We provide the camper and core construction, while you complete much of the interior, systems, and optional equipment yourself.
